The Dipstick® Floor Profiler (Dipstick.com) -- its uses, features and benefits -- are presented in this video from its manufacturer, Face® Construction Technologies of Norfolk, Virginia USA.

The Dipstick is used in 63 countries on six continents to measure concrete floor flatness and levelness. Clients include the world^s biggest company and retailer, the World Bank and the World Road Association... and the Dipstick was used in the construction of the world^s tallest building.

It measures F-Numbers (FF and FL) in accordance with ASTM E1155; Fmin; TR-34 Free Movement (FM); TR-34 Defined Movement (DM); Gap under Sliding Unleveled Straightedge; Gap under Rolling Straightedge; DIN 18202; non-destructive measurement of the thickness of toppings, fills & coatings; joint profiles in accordance with ASTM E1155; joint movement under load; and it produces 3D topographic maps / analyses of floor surfaces.
