Black & Tan table is made with handplaced Quikrete Non-Shrink Precision Grout, with veining, decorative aggregates & inlays. Charcoal on charcoal table is: main body of table is cast with TXI Maximizer Multi-Project Mix with Fu Tung Cheng's Concrete Countertop Pro-Formula Mix, and a bit of PVA fibers, and longhorn is same TXI Maximizer, but instead of Cheng's mix, I just used some superplasticizer and anti-crack admixtures that I had in the shop. I densified both tabletops a few times throughout the polishing process, using Counter-Hard and Pentra-Sil. I first polished both tops at different grits for a few hours each using a hand-held variable speed wet polisher with slurry coats in between. Then I polished with a DS 301 up to 3000 grit. I sealed first with Buddy Rhodes Penetrating Sealer, then with Buddy Rhodes Satin Sealer, buffing in between each coat with Makita 7" polishing wheel.
